Antminer S15 28Th adopts hash algorithm (SHA-256) and is equipped with 7nm ASIC chip BM1391. There are four built-in hash boards, each with 72 BM1391 chips, a total of 288. At launch, the miner was rated as "long-term mining, energy efficiency," emphasizing high performance, durability, and energy efficiency along with less power consumption. There are two mining modes: high performance and energy saving mode.
The Antminer S15 adopts a similar fan structure to the S9, with a single-sided air intake and an integrated power supply. The all-in-one design reduces wiring for a simpler look and more operation and maintenance. The miner has its own voltage regulation line on the control board, which can be switched between energy-saving and high-temperature modes. Compared with the previous series, the control board area of Antminer S15 is further reduced to 115mm * 95mm.
